Since his first appearence we've wondered if Chris Fury's bite could match his bark. Just ask X-Statik. Fury's would make his debut at UWE's annual Sooner Stampede event actually entering at #1 in the 30 man Stampede Match. Chris Fury went from #1 all the way to the final 4 before being eliminated by...X-Statik.
At UWE's July 1 event "Meltdown" X-Statik was the first man to test Fury in a one on one match and they stole the show. Fury and X-Statik had a fantastic back and forth battle which led to a Fury victory but not without further solidifying X-Statik's status as a major player in the ring.
After defeating X-Statik with his Go 2 Sleep finisher, Fury would further shock the attending audience with a new weapon...Ace Archuletta. Archuletta is an impressive athlete who hadn't quite made an impact in UWE until his assault on X-Statik and his alliance with Chris Fury. It's unknown if this relationship between Fury and Archuletta began before Fury's debut with UWE or if perhaps Fury's promises of being the "savior" of UWE convinced Archuletta to form the alliance.
Anarchy would come the save of X-Statik and challenge Fury to a match at UWE's biggest show of the year, Showdown, Oct. 22. Fury accepted the challenge but, with back-up like Ace Archuletta, Anarchy may be facing his biggest challenge yet.
